The completion of the North East Line (NEL) marked Singapore's commitment towards building a comprehensive rail network which provides a comfortable, fast and safe journey for passengers. Being able to play a role in this project, Colt was proud to propose an Engineered Smoke Control System ensuring safe evacuation when there is a fire.
NEL-Dhoby Ghaut Station is one of 16 Stations of North East Line Singapore. Colt supplied and installed Automatic Smoke Curtains and Fixed Curtains as engineered smoke control systems.
16 Stations of NEL had a similar Colt installation: Punggol/ Sengkang/ Serangoon/ Woodleigh/ Hougang/ FarrerPark / PotongPasir/ Clarke Quay / Little India / DhobyGhaut/ Boon Keng/ Chinatown / OutramPark / Kovan/ Harbourfont.
